Nietfeld Seed is a family-owned and operated farm located near Greenwald, Minnesota. Our farm was established in 1940 by Conrad Nietfeld. Since then, Nietfeld Seed has been passed on from generation to generation and is currently lead by Jan and Dan Nietfeld. Jan and Dan have nearly 40 years of experience in the seed solutions business. In addition to growing and providing high quality and low-cost seed, Nietfeld Seed is also involved in innovative corn research. This dedication has led to awards and distinction from the Minnesota Crop Improvement Association.
We are very fortunate to have hard-working, intelligent-minded, corn-loving help on our farm. Our sons Jeremy, Cory, and Kyle, brother Roger, and hired man Pete LeClaire all play important roles in the success of our farm. In addition, our rock pickers, detasselers, and harvesters are also critical to ensure a bountiful year.
Nietfeld Seed is a family first, and we carry that same "family" mentality into our business. Our customers quickly become friends and lifelong partners in the exciting business of farming. Thank you for your interest in Nietfeld Seed and we look forward to hearing from you!
Sincerely,
Daniel and Janice Nietfeld
